Energy Kitchen is a casual dining restaurant that offers a healthy alternative to fast food. The company needed a dynamic yet affordable way to display their unique menu offerings, which are all 500 calories or less. Energy Kitchen currently has locations in New York, New Jersey and Florida, with plans for expansion in the near future. Therefore, the company needed a digital signage system that could manage all menu boards from one central location, but could also display unique menu content in separate markets if needed.

The Solution
NCR Vitalcast Digital Signage Solution, NCR/Texas Digital’s digital signage software solution was installed along with four 46” LCD displays acting as digital menu boards at the Pinecrest, Florida Energy Kitchen location. The franchise has taken advantage of the day-parting feature in Vitalcast by scheduling menus to automatically switch between breakfast and lunch. The company also enjoys the convenience of instant price and content updates, saving both time and money compared to the hassle of making these changes on static menu boards.  Energy Kitchen uses the screens to display menus, pricing, nutritional information, social media pages and corporate branding.
