Objective
Increase profits through sales lift and enhance facility image
Project Background
Each facility faced unique problems and challenges with the static signs that were in place.
• Adventure City was looking to increase the operating efficiency and enhance the overall look of the concessions area. The company wanted a tool to reflect the fun, dynamic atmosphere of the park.
• Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle’s Restaurant struggled with the high costs of making menu and price changes to their vinyl menu boards. The facility wanted to be able to change packages and prices without investing in new signs. Also, the signs and banners that were placed throughout the park became outdated quickly, causing unnecessary replacement costs for the facility.
• Putt-Putt FunHouse displayed their ticket prices on a small, counter-top sign. During busy nights with long lines, customers were not able to see prices, causing them to be at the ticket window for an extended period of time. In the restaurant area, it was costly to make even the slightest menu or price change to the static menu boards.
As a solution to these challenges, these family entertainment centers installed VitalCAST digital signage on LCD screens at their facilities.
Solution
These three facilities use VitalCAST to showcase attractions, display digital menu boards in food and ticketing areas and entertain guests while waiting in line. The software allows the facilities to manage the displays located in multiple areas throughout the park from the central office. Screen content and prices can be changed and updated in near real time with flawless execution.
Texas Digital’s content creation team worked with managers from each location to create a content plan that would fit their needs. The team focused on incorporating dynamic graphics to help portray the fun atmosphere of the faciities and encourage impulse purchases at the register.

Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle’s Restaurant installed screens at the attractions sales counter to display attraction options and prices, and screens near the food area to showcase menu items offered. They also placed screens strategically throughout the park that replaced the static signs and banners. These screens showed specials, videos, and company information such as employee of the month. At Putt-Putt FunHouse, screens were installed in the ticketing area and restaurant to show pricing, events, and advertisements. Adventure City installed four outdoor digital menu boards in front of the concessions area, showcasing menu items and pricing.
Results and Impact
All three parks have experienced success after installing VitalCAST digital signage in their concession, ticketing and restaurant areas.
