Texas Digital Systems Launches New AccuVIEW 104 Order Confirmation Display

TEXAS DIGITAL SYSTEMS LAUNCHES NEW AccuVIEW 104 ORDER CONFIRMATION DISPLAY

(June 30, 2003) College Station, Texas - Texas Digital Systems, Inc. (TDS), the leading provider of electronic display solutions for the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, announced today the release of a new model of the AccuVIEW order confirmation display (OCD).

The new model features a 10.4" sunlight-readable, full-color Active Matrix LCD screen. The smaller-screen format provides an economical alternative to order confirmation, allowing a broader range of QSR operators to realize the benefits of LCD technology. The AccuVIEW 104 capitalizes on drive-thru marketing opportunities by utilizing image association and secondary language translation capabilities. The AccuVIEW 104 is an addition to TDS' current line of order confirmation displays, which includes the popular 15.0" model.

TDS' AccuVIEW OCDs improve drive-thru operations by displaying itemized customer orders, including price, running tax and total. The result is increased speed of service, improved order accuracy and enhanced customer satisfaction. AccuVIEW maximizes up-sell and cross-sell opportunities by displaying text and full-color images to promote new menu items and specials.

AccuVIEW OCDs feature an environmentally sealed electronics module and a sophisticated thermal management system for added reliability, as well as a long-life backlighting system that provides exceptional visibility in all lighting conditions. AccuVIEW integrates with over 95% of POS systems used in the QSR industry.
