TEXAS DIGITAL SYSTEMS TEAMS UP WITH FORWARD SYSTEMS
Integration Offers Customers Enhanced Messaging System
(March 18, 2004) College Station, Texas - Texas Digital Systems, Inc. (TDS), a global provider of real-time visual alert communication solutions, announced today a partnership agreement with Forward Systems, a leading urgent messaging software and services company. TDS will market and support Forward Systems' MessageCentral along with TDS' QuickCOM Enterprise alert communication software, creating an enhanced message distribution solution for businesses seeking to maximize productivity within their call center, help desk or command center operations.
"By integrating QuickCOM Enterprise with MessageCentral, we can now offer our customers a true enterprise notification system that is both flexible and easily maintained," said Dennis Davidson, TDS' Vice President Core Systems Sales and Service. Forward Systems President Scott Malagari added, "Our partnership with TDS provides our customers with the most advanced alerting platform in the industry and maximizes the effectiveness of both of our products."
MessageCentral incorporates a directory-based publish-and-subscribe approach to streamline alerting and notification communications with employees, customers, partners and suppliers. MessageCentral easily receives real-time message events and alerts from QuickCOM Enterprise and distributes them concurrently to the appropriate target audience in a variety of mediums to improve business productivity and effectiveness. The integrated QuickCOM/MessageCentral solution greatly reduces administrative overhead for enterprise messaging by allowing end users to define their personal notification devices and subscribe to alert messages through an easy-to-use Web interface. By combining QuickCOM's host integration capabilities with MessageCentral's publish-and-subscribe model, customers can create a single enterprise messaging platform and eliminate the need to maintain multiple notification databases. The MessageCentral system is engineered to rapidly incorporate support for new communication devices as they arrive into the market while allowing businesses to leverage their existing base of installed pagers, digital phones and other communication platforms.
