Texas Digital and Kalex Equipment Services Expand Partnership

(December 8, 2008) College Station, TX - Texas Digital Systems, Inc., and Kalex Equipment Services of Toronto, Ontario announced the expansion of their partnership to include their Pay at the Drive Through Kiosk fully integrated with the Pharmaplus in store Pharmacy application currently implemented in Pharmaplus Pharmacies across Canada.

The new Pharmaplus Drive Through Payment Kiosk is one of the most unique pharmacy industry products, incorporating order confirmation and verification, PCI/EMV ready credit card payment and product dispenser height adjustment into one drive-thru unit. Texas Digital’s AccuVIEW Order Confirmation Display, which has been traditionally used in the QSR drive-thru industry, was repurposed to show pharmacy customers the prescriptions they are picking up and while guiding them through the payment process accepting variety of payment methods along with the consumer’s loyalty card as well.
