Texas Digital Systems Introduces New AccuTOTAL Price Confirmation Display
TEXAS DIGITAL SYSTEMS INTRODUCES NEW AccuTOTAL PRICE CONFIRMATION DISPLAY
(January 19, 2004) College Station, Texas - Texas Digital Systems, Inc. (TDS), the leading provider of electronic display solutions for the quick-service restaurant industry, announced today the release of a new model of the AccuTOTAL Price Confirmation Display (PCD).
The new AccuTOTAL PCD 202 features a 1.8-inch ultra-bright LED display that visually confirms drive-thru customer order totals at the pick-up window prior to request for payment. This action allows customers to prepare their payments in advance, improving drive-thru turnaround time and increasing speed-of-service. The AccuTOTAL PCD 202 receives data directly from the POS system, assuring complete order entry and discouraging overrings and overcharges.
The AccuTOTAL PCD 202 features a rugged, weatherproof design, a non-glare filter with a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees, and large, ultra-bright LEDs that are easy to read in direct sunlight and at night. The AccuTOTAL PCD 202 can operate either as a stand-alone device or in conjunction with TDS' line of order confirmation displays to form a total drive-thru solution. The AccuTOTAL PCD 202 integrates with over 90% of POS systems in use today.
"TDS is pleased to add the AccuTOTAL PCD 202 to our line of digital display solutions for the quick-serve industry. We listened to our customers and designed the AccuTOTAL PCD 202 with their recommendations in mind," said Chuck Bartlett, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for TDS. "We are excited about the enhancements the AccuTOTAL PCD 202 can offer our customers' drive-thru operations."
