TEXAS DIGITAL SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF QuickCOM ENTERPRISE 2.4

Advanced Version Enables Call Centers, Help Desks and Command Centers to Communicate Critical Information In Real-time

(May 6, 2003) College Station, Texas - Texas Digital Systems, Inc. (TDS), an industry leader in real-time communication and visual messaging solutions, announced the release of QuickCOM Enterprise (QCE) version 2.4. This advanced software application offers the latest in alert communication technology.

QCE 2.4 provides enhanced functionality that empowers contact centers to effectively communicate critical information in real-time. Enhancements include support for new scroll effects, fonts, alarms and graphics available in TDS' premier line of FlexVIEW LED displays. Additional display software tools have been added for creating and uploading static and animated graphics, .wav files (for alarms) and new versions of firmware, as well as for changing network and serial settings.

This version of QCE includes MAPI e-mail support. This support allows messages to be sent and received via a direct connection to a MAPI-compliant e-mail server, such as Microsoft¦reg; Exchange.

For customers requiring network connections to mainframe host systems, QCE 2.4 offers TN3270E support. QCE 2.4 can establish a TCP/IP connection to the new IBM 2074 controller while maintaining the ability to connect to IBM 3174 controllers serially.

"TDS is excited to deliver a new version of QCE that offers valuable enhancements and added functionality for our customers," said Chuck Bartlett, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We take pride in continually improving our products to meet the evolving needs of our customers and the markets we serve."
